Deuces & Joker - Power Poker — Flip Five Gaming video poker review
Deuces & Joker - Power Poker review
Deuces & Joker — Power Poker by Flip Five Gaming is a multi-hand video poker game distributed through Games Global. It combines Deuces Wild and Joker Poker mechanics: the deck contains four deuces and one Joker, and all five cards act as Wilds.
Power Poker lets you switch between 1, 4, 10 and 50-hand modes. The player receives an initial five-card hand, selects cards to Hold and replaces the rest. In multi-hand mode, the same hold decision is applied across several hands, after which each hand produces its own final result.
For the full Deuces & Joker paytable, RTP is confirmed at 99.07% with optimal strategy. The highest-paying hand is Five Wild Cards at 2000, followed by Natural Royal Flush at 800 and Four Deuces at 25. RTP assumes mathematically correct play against the corresponding paytable, so Hold/Draw mistakes reduce the actual expected return.
Deuces & Joker - Power Poker demo — play for free
The Deuces & Joker — Power Poker demo lets you learn the video poker format without wagering real money. In free mode, you can test Hold/Draw rules, the difference between regular and Wild hands, and switching between different numbers of hands.
For practice, it is especially important to get used to the five Wild cards: four deuces and the Joker. They significantly change standard video poker strategy because they make Five of a Kind, Wild Royal Flush and Five Wild Cards possible.
Before playing for real money, it is useful to check the built-in paytable. The version with 99.07% RTP uses the 2000-800-25-12-9-6-3-3-3-2-1 scale from Five Wild Cards down to Three of a Kind.

Deuces & Joker - Power Poker features
How to play Deuces & Joker - Power Poker
A round starts with a five-card deal. The player evaluates the starting hand and selects the cards to keep using Hold. All cards that are not held are replaced after Draw.
Unlike ordinary poker against other players, there is no opponent or shared pot. The final combination in each hand is compared with a fixed paytable. In the full version, the lowest paying hand is Three of a Kind.
The Deuces & Joker name reflects the game’s core mathematics. Every card ranked 2 is Wild, and a Joker is added to the deck as another Wild. That creates five universal cards in a single 53-card deck.
A Wild can take the value and suit required to form the best eligible hand. This creates combinations that do not appear in standard Jacks or Better, including Five of a Kind, Wild Royal Flush and Five Wild Cards.
Power Poker adds a multi-hand mode. The official Games Global listing confirms fast switching between one, four, ten and fifty hands. The more hands you select, the larger the total stake becomes at the same per-hand bet.
An RTP of 99.07% does not mean the game returns that proportion in every short session. It is a theoretical long-run figure based on optimal strategy. In video poker, Hold/Draw decisions affect expected value, so incorrect holds can noticeably reduce the actual return.

In some interfaces, payouts scale with the number of coins wagered. The absolute number of credits paid for a Royal Flush or Five Wild Cards should therefore be checked directly in the selected betting mode.
Wild cards, Power Poker and Gamble
Deuces & Joker — Power Poker does not use typical slot bonuses. Its extra features are tied to Wild cards, the number of hands played simultaneously and the possible Gamble option.
- Four Deuces Wild: all four deuces can substitute for other cards.
- Joker Wild: the additional 53rd card is also Wild.
- Five Wild Cards: the Joker plus four deuces is the highest-paying hand at 2000.
- Power Poker: 1, 4, 10 and 50-hand modes are officially available.
- Quick Deals: Games Global describes the Flip Five Gaming range as optimized for faster gameplay.
- Gamble: SlotCatalog tags Gamble as a feature. The exact double-or-risk rule should be checked in the specific version.
- Free Spins: Not applicable.
- Bonus Buy: Not applicable.
- Scatter: Not applicable.
Some operator pages automatically attribute jackpots or Free Spins to the game. These claims are not supported by the official Flip Five Gaming / Games Global description of the product as classic video poker and are therefore not used as universal game characteristics.
Deuces & Joker - Power Poker interface and controls
The main controls are Deal, Hold and Draw. After the initial deal, Hold can be enabled under each card. Once Draw is confirmed, unheld cards are replaced to form the final hand.
A separate Power Poker selector controls the number of hands. Games Global officially lists four modes: single, four, ten and fifty-hand. This allows the same video poker variant to be played as a simple single-hand game or a more intense multi-hand format.
The total stake rises as the number of hands increases. Before pressing Deal, it is therefore important to check not only the denomination for one hand but also the final Total Bet.
Bet limits vary: SlotCatalog lists 0.25–25, SlotsTemple 0.25–50, while other operator pages may show their own values. This is a typical sign of operator and currency configuration, so no universal maximum bet is stated without checking the client.
Flip Five Gaming focuses on portrait-first design, fast loading and support across devices. The studio’s games are distributed through Games Global.

Deuces & Joker - Power Poker reviews
Below are opinions about Deuces & Joker. They help you understand which features, mechanics, pace, and design may be important when evaluating the game.
What I like most is the combination of four deuces and the Joker. Five Wild cards change the strategy noticeably, and the Five Wild Cards hand at 2000 gives the game a clear top target.
Thank you. The five Wild cards are indeed the defining feature of Deuces & Joker.

Switching between 1, 4, 10 and 50 hands is convenient. A single hand can feel calm, while multi-hand play is much more dynamic. I take off half a point because the total bet rises quickly.
Thank you. As the number of hands increases, it is important to monitor Total Bet rather than only the stake on one hand.

A 99.07% RTP is good, but it is easy to make Hold mistakes without a strategy. The demo is useful specifically for practicing decisions with several Wild cards.
Thank you. The stated RTP does assume optimal strategy.

The game looks more modern than older video poker titles while keeping familiar rules. I would just like to see one unambiguous Max Win figure across all databases.
Thank you. Different Max Win bases do appear in public sources, which is why the conflict is explained separately in the review.

If you want a standard slot with Free Spins, this is a completely different format. The appeal here is in the cards, Hold decisions and strategy. It works well for video poker fans but may feel too calm for slot players.
Thank you. Deuces & Joker — Power Poker is video poker rather than a reel slot.
