How Wheel Works

A Wheel round starts with your settings. Choose a Risk level and the number of active segments on the wheel. The interface then recalculates the multipliers and displays the potential payouts beneath the game area. Once you are happy with the setup, set the bet and press BET.

The wheel spins and stops on one of its segments. If the pointer lands on an active paying segment, the result is calculated using the multiplier shown for that segment. I prefer the look of Classic Mode to Modern, even though the rules are the same. The game is very easy to understand: set the Risk level, choose the number of segments and spin the wheel. I like that there are no extra bonus menus. The downside is that the 49.5× maximum looks modest next to regular Hacksaw slots, but the rounds are quick.

The most interesting comparison for me is Low versus High with the same number of segments. The difference in multipliers is immediately visible, so you can clearly see what the extra risk is buying you. It works well for a short session, especially with Turbo. I usually keep a lot of segments active because I am more comfortable with a wider winning area, even if the multipliers are smaller. I like being able to switch quickly to ten segments and see a completely different round profile. Autoplay is convenient, but I prefer changing the settings manually every few spins so the game does not turn into a repetitive sequence.

The adjustable wheel is easy to understand, but I personally miss having more happen within the round itself. Once the segments and Risk level are set, everything is decided by a single spin, so the presentation is quite simple. Modern Mode looks clean and the demo makes the mechanic quick to learn. I would choose Wheel for short rounds, not as a replacement for a full video slot.
