Power Play — TopSpin Virtual Game Review and Demo

Power Play Review

Power Play is a virtual cricket game by TopSpin built around betting on shot direction rather than reels and paylines. The field has eight possible zones: four onside and four offside. The player selects one or more positions, after which a virtual batter sends the ball into one of them.

The RTP is 96.03%. After a winning round, you can collect the payout or enter Gamble and try to increase it to ×4 or ×6. A universal stake range, volatility, and Max Win are not fixed here because reliable single values are not available across all integrations.

Power Play Demo — Play for Free

Power Play is available in demo mode. The free version lets you try the eight shot directions, place multiple bets, use Undo and Clear All, and test the Gamble outcomes of ×4, ×6, and Out without wagering real money.

The demo is particularly useful for learning the virtual cricket betting interface. There are no traditional symbols, Wilds, or Free Spins: the main decisions are which zones to back before starting the round and whether to risk an existing win in Gamble.

Power Play Key Features

Power Play is classified as Virtual and uses eight betting positions instead of reels and paylines. Four zones are onside and four are offside. RTP is 96.03%. Core functions include multi-position betting, Collect, Gamble ×4 / ×6, Undo, Clear All, and a history of the current net position.

How to Play Power Play

Before a round, the player chooses a chip denomination and places a bet on one or more of the eight zones on the cricket field. The stake can be distributed across several shot directions.

After START is pressed, the virtual batter plays a shot and the ball lands in one of the available positions. If the selected zone matches the result, the corresponding bet pays out.

If the ball lands in a position that was not backed, that part of the round ends without a win. After a successful result, the player can either lock in the payout or use Gamble.

Undo reverses the most recent betting action, Clear All removes all placed chips, and an additional clearing mode lets you remove individual bets from the field.

Power Play Game Elements

Power Play does not use classic slot symbols. The game system is built around cricket-field zones and betting controls.

  • 8 Shot Positions. Eight possible shot directions — four onside and four offside.
  • Bet Chips. Chips are used to place a stake on one or more zones.
  • START. Starts the virtual shot and determines the round result.
  • Collect. Locks in an existing win after a successful outcome.
  • Gamble Wheel. Lets you risk the win for ×4 or ×6 multipliers.

Power Play Extra Features

Power Play does not use traditional slot bonuses. Its main extra mechanic is Gamble after a winning round.

  • Gamble ×4. One possible wheel result multiplies the current win by four.
  • Gamble ×6. A higher possible result multiplies the current win by six.
  • Out. If Gamble lands on Out, the win from the current round is lost.
  • Collect. Gamble is optional: the win can be collected before taking the risk.
  • Net Position. The interface shows your running net result since the start of the session.
  • Reality Check. The game provides periodic notifications about session duration.

Free Spins, Wild, Scatter, Megaways, Bonus Buy, and Progressive Jackpot do not apply to Power Play.

Power Play Interface and Betting

The Power Play interface resembles a cricket field with eight betting zones. The player selects a chip denomination, places it on one or more positions, and starts the round with the START button.

This review does not set one universal cash stake range: available materials describe chip denomination selection but do not provide a single reliable scale across all operator integrations.

After a win, it is especially important to distinguish Collect from Gamble. Collect ends the risk with the current payout, while Gamble can increase it to ×4 or ×6 but can also reduce the round win to zero if the wheel lands on Out.

Power Play Pros and Cons

Power Play suits players who enjoy virtual sports and quick rounds based on a specific outcome rather than conventional reel spins.

  • Free demo version available.

Cons

Power Play Reviews

Below are opinions about Power Play. They help you understand which features, mechanics, pace, and design may be important when evaluating the game.

What I like about Power Play is that the result depends on choosing a shot direction rather than familiar slot symbols. The eight zones are easy to understand after a few rounds. You can split bets across several positions and, after a win, decide whether to collect it or try Gamble for ×4 or ×6.

Editor’s reply:

Yes. The combination of zone betting and optional Gamble forms the core of the game.

The onside and offside format fits the cricket theme well. I like being able to back several zones at once rather than choosing only one outcome. Undo and Clear All are useful if I want to change the layout quickly before pressing START. I use Gamble cautiously because the Out sector removes the entire win.

Editor’s reply:

The betting controls are indeed designed for quick changes before starting the round.

The main advantage of Power Play for me is being able to press Collect and avoid risking a win I already have. ×4 and ×6 are tempting, but Out makes Gamble quite unforgiving. The base game itself is simple: place chips on directions, start the shot, and see the result immediately.

Editor’s reply:

Collect lets you end the round without taking additional risk after a successful outcome.

Eight betting positions give more options than a simple two-outcome bet, but the rules are still easy to follow. I would like more reliably published information on Max Win and volatility, although the 96.03% RTP is clear enough. The demo is useful for getting used to the zone layout and controls.

Editor’s reply:

The demo is indeed a quick way to learn the layout of the onside and offside zones.

Power Play interests me more as a virtual sports game than as a replacement for a slot. There are no Wilds, Scatters, or Free Spins, but the cricket field is easy to understand and each shot resolves quickly. After several rounds, the core loop starts to repeat, so Gamble remains the main source of extra variety for me.

Editor’s reply:

Yes. The game deliberately focuses on a simple virtual-sports loop and Gamble rather than slot features.
