Dice — Hacksaw Gaming game review and demo

Dice review

Dice is an instant win game from Hacksaw Gaming’s Dare2Win range. Instead of reels, it uses a number line: the player moves a slider, chooses a target and sets the size of the green winning zone. After the bet is placed, the system generates a random number from 0 to 100. If the indicator stops in the green section of the line, the bet wins. The RTP of the verified version is 98%, while the maximum multiplier reaches approximately 49.49×.

Dice demo — play for free

Dice is available in demo mode. The free version lets you move the slider, choose a target from 2 to 98, see how the win chance and payout multiplier change, test Flip Roll and explore the automatic mode without wagering real money. The demo is especially useful for understanding how the size of the green zone changes the risk of each round.

About Dice

The main element in Dice is a horizontal number line with a movable target. By changing the slider position, the player sets the boundary between the winning and losing parts of the range.

After BET is pressed, the system randomly selects a number from 0 to 100. The result appears on the line as a die-shaped indicator. If it lands in the green zone, the round wins.

A larger green zone means a higher chance of a successful outcome but a lower payout multiplier. Making the green section shorter reduces the win probability while increasing the available multiplier.

The minimum permitted payout multiplier is 1.05×. At the other end of the range, the potential multiplier reaches approximately 49.49×, so the player effectively chooses the balance between win frequency and the size of a possible payout.

Dice interface elements

Dice does not use standard slot symbols. Its main elements are tied to the number line and target settings.

  • Target Slider. Lets you choose the target boundary from 2 to 98.
  • Green Zone. Shows the range of results that produce a win.
  • Die Indicator. Marks the random number generated after the bet.
  • Win Chance. Shows the probability of landing in the selected winning area.
  • Payout Multiplier. Determines the payout for a successful result.
  • Flip Roll. Switches the side on which the green and red parts of the line appear.

Wilds, Scatters, paylines, a reel grid and a standard symbol paytable do not apply to Dice.

Dice mechanics and features

Dice does not use traditional slot bonuses. All variation comes from the settings applied to each round.

Adjustable Target. The player moves the target along the line from 2 to 98 and can see how the win chance and payout multiplier change before placing a bet.

Variable Risk. A larger green zone can produce wins more often, but the multiplier is lower. A narrow green zone reduces the probability and increases the payout.

Flip Roll. This feature switches the direction of the green and red segments while preserving the selected risk structure.

Autoplay. Automatic mode can repeat rounds with the same settings without manually pressing BET before every roll.

Limiting Tools. Automatic mode includes limits that let you define stop conditions for a sequence of rounds in advance.

Maximum Multiplier. The highest confirmed multiplier for the verified version is about 49.49×.

Free Spins. Standard free spins do not apply because Dice is an instant win game without reels.

Dice interface and controls

Before placing a bet, the player moves the slider along the number line and chooses a target. The interface simultaneously shows the green winning area, the probability of a successful result and the corresponding payout multiplier.

After BET is pressed, a random number from 0 to 100 is generated. The indicator stops on the line and the result is immediately compared with the selected green zone.

Flip Roll changes the direction of the selected range, while Autoplay launches a series of rounds automatically. With its minimalist structure, the main controls focus on the target, bet size and automatic-mode settings.

Dice pros and cons

Dice may appeal to players who like fast instant win games where they can set the probability and potential payout themselves.

Pros

  • RTP is 98%.
  • The target can be adjusted from 2 to 98.
  • The minimum available payout multiplier is 1.05×.
  • The maximum multiplier reaches approximately 49.49×.
  • You can change the balance between win chance and payout.
  • Flip Roll and Autoplay are available.
  • Limiting tools are available for automatic mode.
  • A demo version is available.

Cons

  • A high multiplier requires a significantly smaller green winning zone.
  • There are no classic reels, paylines, Wilds or Scatters.
  • Standard Free Spins are not available.
  • The core gameplay loop is built almost entirely around repeatedly setting the target and generating one random number.

Dice reviews

Below are opinions about Dice. They help you understand which features, mechanics, pace, and design may be important when evaluating the game.

I like how Dice shows the relationship between risk and payout straight away. Move the target, the green zone changes, and the multiplier updates with it. There is no need to open a separate table because the key maths for the round is right in front of you.

Editor’s reply:

The Target Slider does let you see both the size of the winning zone and the corresponding payout multiplier before placing a bet.

Flip Roll turned out to be more useful than I expected. You can keep roughly the same level of risk while switching the side of the line that contains the winning range. The mechanic is simple, but it makes round setup more convenient.

Editor’s reply:

Flip Roll switches the positions of the green and red segments and lets you quickly reverse the direction of the selected range.

Autoplay is the strongest feature for me. I set the target manually a few times first, then I can repeat the same parameters automatically. It is useful to have limits so the sequence is not left running completely unchecked.

Editor’s reply:

Dice does include limiting tools in automatic mode for setting conditions for the sequence in advance.

The maximum 49.49× looks interesting, but the winning zone becomes very small at that multiplier. I prefer settings closer to the middle, where the results feel less extreme. It is good that the game lets you choose that balance yourself.

Editor’s reply:

In Dice, probability and the multiplier are directly connected: increasing the potential payout reduces the size of the green zone.

After regular slots, Dice almost feels too simple. There are no combinations, free spins or separate bonus rounds — just a line, a target and a random result. Still, that minimalist format works well for short demo sessions.

Editor’s reply:

Dice belongs to the Instant Win / Dare2Win category and deliberately uses a number-based mechanic instead of a reel-based structure.
