SpinOn Review

SpinOn is a young slot studio that entered the international market through Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters programme in 2024. The provider develops video slots with cluster pays, cascading wins, respins, bonus wheels, expanding symbols, GigaBlox-style mechanics, jackpots and Buy Bonus options. Notable games include Gates of Thunder, Book of Evil, Shipwrecked, Ramses Retro, Major Miners, 9 Arrows of Odysseus, Dream Diner Deluxe and Scrolls of Persia. SpinOn’s official website operates under Co-Gaming Limited, while YGG Masters distribution uses Yggdrasil’s GATI infrastructure.

SpinOn Slots

SpinOn focuses almost entirely on video slots. Its current Games page displays more than 30 titles, ranging from classic-style Blazin’ Reels and Money Flash to cluster games such as Shipwrecked and Cosmic Drop, GigaBlox projects, Book slots, jackpot titles and wheel-based mechanics. The catalogue also includes Captain Cashmap, Dream Diner Deluxe, Gigablox Kingdom, Zappin’ Zeus, Dragon Crusade Lock & Link, Renegade Revengers, Major Miners and other games. RTP and volatility depend on the specific title and mathematical version.

What Is SpinOn?

SpinOn became a public Yggdrasil partner in spring 2024. On 2 April, Yggdrasil announced the studio as the thirteenth member of YGG Masters and described it as a new independent developer. The Handsome Bandit was initially expected to be the first title, but the first release in Yggdrasil’s official news feed was Gates of Thunder, launched on 20 August 2024.

Book of Evil, Shipwrecked, Ramses Retro, The Handsome Bandit and Show Me The Honey followed during 2024. By the end of that year, SpinOn had established several product directions, including cluster pays, Book-style slots, retro mechanics, wheel features and story-driven games.

The range expanded in 2025 with Major Miners, Saber, Life O’Riley, 9 Arrows of Odysseus and other titles. Dream Diner Deluxe and Scrolls of Persia are confirmed 2026 releases. The current SpinOn website also lists Captain Cashmap, Gigablox Kingdom, Money Flash, Cosmic Drop, Crab Chaos, Lock & Loot Gigablox, Renegade Revengers and other titles.

The official website is spin-on.com. Its footer states that SpinOn operates under Co-Gaming Limited, registered in Malta under company number C 47444. This establishes a corporate connection for the brand but does not by itself justify assigning SpinOn a separate B2B supplier licence.

YGG Masters, GATI and SpinOn Distribution

SpinOn develops its international distribution through YGG Masters. The programme allows independent studios to use Yggdrasil’s technology and commercial network without turning their games into Yggdrasil in-house titles.

The key technology layer is GATI. Yggdrasil describes it as a standardised, regulation-ready toolkit for developing, packaging and rapidly distributing games across its operator network. This is why SpinOn slots appear on Yggdrasil pages alongside in-house and other YGG Masters partner releases.

For users, this means two brands can appear around the same game: SpinOn as the developer and Yggdrasil as the publishing and distribution infrastructure. The accurate attribution is “SpinOn, powered/distributed via Yggdrasil YGG Masters”, rather than “developed by Yggdrasil”.

Some current technical details, including RTP, release date, volatility, maximum win and supported languages, are easier to verify on `yggdrasilgaming.com`, because SpinOn’s own website primarily acts as a brand showcase and does not always display the full mathematical specification.

SpinOn Game Mechanics and Features

SpinOn does not build its entire catalogue around one mathematical model. The studio uses several distinctly different approaches.

  • Cluster pays and tumbling. Gates of Thunder uses a 6×5 grid, cluster pays, tumbling symbols and multipliers. Shipwrecked adds dynamic Hot-Zones and Colossal Wilds.
  • Book mechanics. Book of Evil is built around expanding symbols, Free Spins and Bonus Buy.
  • Wheel features. Major Miners uses an X-Pots Wheel, jackpot tiers and a Multiplier Super-Bonus Round. The Handsome Bandit uses a wheel to determine the number of Free Spins.
  • Progressive respins. Saber changes its reel layout as the respin feature advances through levels and adds a multiplier at the highest level.
  • Pachinko / Top Dollar inspiration. Ramses Retro combines a Scarab Pinball Bonus with the Top Fortune Feature.
  • Pay-anywhere and cascades. Dream Diner Deluxe uses a 6×5 layout, cascading wins and several multiplier wheels during Free Spins.
  • Collection and multiplier progression. Scrolls of Persia uses expanding symbols, a collection meter, extra spins, multiplier boosts and a multiplier wheel.

Some newer games include SpinON+, a set of additional entry or enhancement options, such as a higher chance of symbol expansion or guaranteed access to Free Spins. The available SpinON+ options depend on the game and market.

Notable SpinOn Games

SpinOn’s catalogue is still smaller than the libraries of long-established providers, but several titles already represent the studio’s main design directions.

  • Gates of Thunder. The debut release from 20 August 2024, using a 6×5 grid, cluster pays, tumbling symbols, multipliers and Free Spins.
  • Book of Evil. A 5×3, 10-payline game with randomly expanding symbols and Free Spins; maximum multiplier up to 5000×.
  • Shipwrecked. A cluster slot with Hot-Zones, Colossal Wilds, multipliers and Free Spins.
  • Ramses Retro. An Egyptian/Vegas hybrid with Scarab Pinball and the Top Fortune Feature.
  • Show Me The Honey. Features TruPick, a Random Modifier Wheel, Honeycomb Wilds and Rewind.
  • Major Miners. Uses 243 ways, an X-Pots Wheel, jackpot tiers and bonus-grid upgrades.
  • Saber. Respins with level-based progression, expanding reels, fixed Wilds and Xtreme Wilds.
  • 9 Arrows of Odysseus. A 5×3 game with Scatter Pays, a Free Spins Wheel and multipliers.
  • Dream Diner Deluxe. A 6×5 pay-anywhere slot with cascades, multiplier wheels and Free Spins.
  • Scrolls of Persia. A March 2026 release with expanding symbols, a collection meter, respins and a multiplier wheel.

SpinOn RTP and Volatility

There is no single RTP for SpinOn. Many YGG Masters games are released in several certified mathematical configurations, so the same title does not necessarily have the same return setting at every operator.

Game RTP Volatility Max multiplier
Gates of Thunder 94% / 90.5% Super High 10,000×
Book of Evil 94% / 90.5% / 86% High 5000×
Ramses Retro 94% / 90.5% / 86% High 4875×
Major Miners 94% / 90.5% / 86% High 6000×
Saber 94% / 90.5% Low 2050×
9 Arrows of Odysseus 94% / 90.5% Medium 3500×
Dream Diner Deluxe 94% Super High 14,000×
Scrolls of Persia 96% / 94% / 90.5% Super High 20,000×

The table is based on current official Yggdrasil game pages. For a specific operator, check the Help or Rules section of the loaded version. This is especially important when several RTP configurations are available, because an operator may use a certified setting below the highest published value.

New SpinOn Games in 2026

At least two notable SpinOn YGG Masters releases are confirmed for 2026. Dream Diner Deluxe launched on 27 January with a 6×5 pay-anywhere layout, cascading wins, three multiplier wheels during Free Spins and a maximum multiplier of 14,000×. Yggdrasil’s official page lists 94% RTP and Super High volatility.

Scrolls of Persia launched on 24 March 2026. It is a 5×3, 10-payline slot with expanding symbols, a collection meter, a respin after two non-winning Scatters, a multiplier wheel and SpinON+ options. The official page publishes RTP settings of 96%, 94% and 90.5%, Super High volatility and a maximum multiplier of 20,000×.

Game Date Confirmed features
Dream Diner Deluxe 27 January 2026 6×5, pay anywhere, cascades, multiplier wheels, Free Spins, 14,000×
Scrolls of Persia 24 March 2026 5×3, 10 lines, expanding symbols, collection meter, respin, multiplier wheel, 20,000×

As of 2 September 2026, no later SpinOn release with a confirmed release date was found in the official Yggdrasil SpinOn material reviewed for this update. SpinOn’s own Games page is not fully synchronised with Yggdrasil’s current catalogue and, for example, does not list Scrolls of Persia in the main Games view even though Yggdrasil confirms its March 2026 release. For release chronology, the Yggdrasil game record therefore takes priority.

Demo, Mobile Play and Localisations

Games on `spin-on.com` include Play Now buttons, while Yggdrasil pages use Play. Most titles are HTML5 games designed for browser play on desktop and mobile, so users do not need a single universal SpinOn app.

Official Yggdrasil pages for SpinOn titles show broad language support. Gates of Thunder, Major Miners, Saber, 9 Arrows of Odysseus and Scrolls of Persia, for example, list English alongside German, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian and other languages.

Language localisation does not establish a separate legal market status. It is a feature of specific game builds. Likewise, access to a demo does not mean a real-money version is authorised in every country from which a promotional page can be opened.

Some games offer Bonus Buy or SpinON+ options, but these features can be disabled in certain jurisdictions. The interface of the same game can therefore differ between operators.

SpinOn Legal Structure and Licensing

SpinOn’s official website states that the brand operates under Co-Gaming Limited, registered in Malta under company number C 47444. The Malta Gaming Authority register lists MGA/CRP/178/2009 for Co-Gaming Limited, but this is a B2C Gaming Service Licence intended for services to end users.

This licence should not be described as a separate SpinOn B2B supplier licence. Co-Gaming’s register information also lists third-party approved service providers for Type 1 Gaming Services, which reflects its operator role rather than establishing a standalone developer licence for SpinOn.

SpinOn games are released through YGG Masters and GATI. Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd holds the B2B Critical Gaming Supply Licence MGA/B2B/230/2012, along with other B2B permissions for regulated markets. These are Yggdrasil licences for its technology and distribution activities, not licences owned by SpinOn.

The legally careful model is therefore: SpinOn is a brand/studio operating under Co-Gaming Limited whose content is distributed through YGG Masters; Co-Gaming and Yggdrasil have different regulatory roles. The licence of any casino offering SpinOn games must be checked separately.

SpinOn Pros and Cons

SpinOn is a young studio with a compact but already varied catalogue and a strong technology and distribution connection with Yggdrasil.

Advantages

  • More than 30 games in the current brand showcase and rapid catalogue growth since 2024.
  • Varied mechanics including cluster pays, Book slots, wheel features, respins, GigaBlox, jackpots and pay-anywhere.
  • Distribution through YGG Masters and GATI technology.
  • Official Yggdrasil pages publish RTP configurations, volatility and release dates for key games.
  • Many titles support multiple languages and mobile/browser play.

Cons

  • The catalogue is still noticeably smaller than those of long-established major providers.
  • A substantial share of the range uses High or Super High volatility.
  • Many titles have several RTP configurations, so the same game can differ materially in maths between operators.

SpinOn Game Reviews

Below are opinions about SpinOn. They help highlight which aspects of its games, mechanics, presentation, and product approach may matter when evaluating the provider.

I like that SpinOn's early games already feel different from one another. Gates of Thunder is built around clusters and multipliers, Ramses Retro uses pinball and Top Fortune, while Major Miners focuses on a jackpot wheel and grid upgrades. For a young studio, that feels more varied than a line-up of similar 5×3 slots.

Reply:

Thank you. SpinOn does use several different mechanical foundations, while YGG Masters helps the studio distribute these projects through GATI.

Scrolls of Persia is the most interesting 2026 release for me. The expanding symbols, collection meter and multiplier wheel work well together, and the 20,000× maximum is much higher than in many earlier SpinOn games. Super High volatility and several RTP versions mean I would still check the rules before playing.

Reply:

Correct. The official Scrolls of Persia page publishes three RTP configurations — 96%, 94% and 90.5% — with Super High volatility.

I preferred Saber to the heavier bonus slots. It has Low volatility, and the respin progression and expanding reels happen during the main game. It is a good example that SpinOn is not exclusively High-volatility, even though the catalogue includes many games in that range.

Reply:

Thank you. Saber is officially listed as a Low-volatility game and uses step-by-step respin progression rather than a complex separate bonus grid.

The main drawback is RTP. Book of Evil and Major Miners have 94%, 90.5% and 86% versions, so an old review showing one figure can be misleading. The mechanics are interesting, but I would always compare the exact casino version, especially when Bonus Buy is available.

Reply:

Agreed. With SpinOn it is especially important to check the mathematical configuration of the exact launch rather than treating the highest RTP as universal.

The catalogue is still small compared with major studios, and some newer games are very volatile. Dream Diner Deluxe and Scrolls of Persia are interesting, but their pace is completely different from Saber. I like the range of mechanics, although I would also like to see more calmer slots with straightforward RTP settings.

Reply:

Yes, SpinOn’s current library leans more towards Medium, High and Super High volatility, although games such as Saber offer a calmer profile.

SpinOn Review Summary

SpinOn is a young independent slot studio that has grown quickly through YGG Masters and GATI. Its catalogue already covers cluster pays, Book mechanics, wheel features, progressive respins, jackpots, pay-anywhere and SpinON+ options. Gates of Thunder, Ramses Retro, Major Miners, Saber, 9 Arrows of Odysseus, Dream Diner Deluxe and Scrolls of Persia provide a useful cross-section of the brand. The key point is to check the exact RTP and keep the legal roles of SpinOn, Co-Gaming and Yggdrasil separate.

Casinos With SpinOn Games

SpinOn games are distributed through YGG Masters and Yggdrasil’s network, so an individual operator may integrate only part of the catalogue. Game availability, RTP configuration, Bonus Buy, SpinON+ and demo access can differ by jurisdiction and integration. Seeing SpinOn in a lobby identifies the content developer and Yggdrasil may identify a distribution route, but neither fact by itself proves a casino’s licensing or reliability.
