Light & Wonder — Slots, Games and Provider Overview

Light & Wonder, Inc. is a Nevada company headquartered at 6601 Bermuda Road, Las Vegas. In its 2025 annual report, it describes itself as a global cross-platform gaming company focused on content and digital markets. Its business includes gaming machines and systems for land-based casinos, iGaming, and social and other digital games.

The current name comes from the company’s 2022 corporate transformation. On 1 March 2022, Scientific Games Corporation announced its move to the Light & Wonder brand, and on 28 April it completed the legal name change to Light & Wonder, Inc. This followed the sale of the lottery business and a strategy of concentrating on gaming and digital content. The current Light & Wonder business should therefore not be automatically confused with the separate lottery business that retained the Scientific Games name after the transaction.

In iGaming, Light & Wonder does not operate as a single isolated studio. Its official digital portfolio combines the Light & Wonder brand with several studios, including ELK, Lightning Box and Authentic Gaming. The company also develops content marketplace and platform solutions that give operators access to both first-party and third-party games.

That makes the catalogue highly varied. It can include traditional five-reel slots, Megaways and Ways formats, jackpot mechanics, hold-and-spin-style features, local progressive jackpots and live-casino content. The characteristics of one studio or game series should not be applied to the entire Light & Wonder portfolio.

One of the brand’s most recognisable game families is Rainbow Riches. Modern versions build on classic features such as Road to Riches, Wishing Well and Pots of Gold, while individual releases add bonus choices, extra free spins and new feature combinations. New variants continue to appear in the official catalogue: for example, Rainbow Riches Even More Pots of Gold Free Spins has an official release date of 22 January 2026.

For users, two distinctions are important. First, a game appearing in the Light & Wonder ecosystem is not necessarily developed by an internal Light & Wonder studio. Second, access to a particular release depends on operator integration, the market and local permissions. As a result, casino libraries can differ significantly.

The Light & Wonder corporate brand covers several legal entities, so licensing should always be checked for the relevant company and jurisdiction. In the UK Gambling Commission register, LNW Gaming UK Limited, account number 66104, holds active remote licences for Gambling Software from 11 March 2025 and Game Host (Casino) from 31 March 2026. Active trading names include l&w, light & wonder, light and wonder and lnw.

At the date checked, the UKGC register showed no regulatory actions for LNW Gaming UK Limited. A supplier’s B2B licence, however, does not replace the licence of an online casino. When choosing an operator, its own authorisation and the availability of the relevant product in that jurisdiction should be checked separately.

Light & Wonder positions its content as cross-platform: games are developed for online and mobile play, and some game families move between land-based and digital casino channels. The official iGaming catalogue includes individual release pages with launch dates, RTP versions and feature descriptions, although access to a playable demo depends on the specific page, region and operator settings.

Language support and availability also vary by title, version, operator and market. There is no basis for assuming that the entire global portfolio has the same localisation, demo access or commercial availability everywhere. Checking the exact game page and the selected casino is more reliable than treating the worldwide catalogue as a single uniform offer.
