Baccarat by Genesis Gaming — Card Game Review
Baccarat Review
Baccarat by Genesis Gaming is a digital table game based on classic baccarat rules. Before the deal, the player chooses one of three main outcomes: Player wins, Banker wins or Tie. The cards are dealt automatically, and the aim is to predict which hand will finish closer to 9 points.
Baccarat Demo — Play for Free
The Baccarat demo lets you explore the Player, Banker and Tie betting areas without real-money stakes, see how points are counted and watch the third-card rules being applied automatically. Free play is a convenient way to learn the pace of the deals and the differences between the three main bet types before playing for real money.
Baccarat Key Features
Baccarat was developed by Genesis Gaming and is classified as a Table Game. The reviewed version uses eight standard 52-card decks. The main betting options are Player, Banker and Tie. Player pays 1:1 with no commission, Banker winnings are subject to a commission, and Tie pays 8:1.

How to Play Baccarat
Each round involves two notional hands — Player and Banker. The player does not control either hand directly and only chooses an outcome before the deal begins. The hand with a final value closer to 9 wins, or the round ends in a Tie if both values are equal.
For scoring, aces are worth 1, cards from 2 to 9 are worth their face value, and tens, jacks, queens and kings are worth 0. If the total of two or three cards is above 9, only the final digit counts. For example, 7 + 6 gives a total of 3, while King + 9 gives a total of 9.
Each side starts with two cards. In certain situations, a third card is dealt automatically according to fixed tableau rules. The player does not decide whether to draw: once the bet is confirmed, the system completes the deal and determines the result automatically.
The reviewed Baccarat listing states that eight decks are used and shuffled between rounds. This preserves the familiar Punto Banco structure: the outcome is selected before the deal, while the hand then develops according to the game rules.

Cards and Values in Baccarat
Baccarat has no slot symbols, reels or paylines. The game uses ordinary cards from four suits, and only their point values are relevant when determining the result.
- Ace. Worth 1 point.
- Cards 2–9. Worth their face value in points.
- 10, Jack, Queen, King. Worth 0 points.
- Total above 9. Only the final digit of the total is counted.
Card suits do not affect the outcome of the main Player, Banker and Tie bets.
Baccarat Bets and Payouts
Baccarat centres on three main betting areas. This card game has no separate Free Spins, Bonus Buy, Wild, Scatter or slot-style bonus rounds.
- Player. The bet wins if the Player hand finishes closer to 9. The confirmed payout is 1:1 with no commission.
- Banker. The bet wins if the Banker hand wins. A commission applies to the payout, so the net profit is lower than a nominal 1:1.
- Tie. The bet wins if both hands finish the round with the same value. The confirmed payout is 8:1.
On a Tie, standard Player and Banker bets are usually returned. Before playing for real money, however, check the refund rules and commission rate in the help section for the specific casino version.
Baccarat Interface and Controls
The Baccarat interface is built around three main areas — Player, Banker and Tie. The player selects a chip value, places a bet in the chosen area and starts the deal. The cards are then revealed automatically, and the result is calculated without any further decisions.
This format works well on smaller screens because the main action takes place before the round starts; after placing the bet, the player simply watches the deal. Catalogues featuring Genesis Gaming demos indicate mobile support, including Android and iOS.
Before confirming a real-money bet, check the selected area, stake amount and Banker commission rules, as the exact limits may depend on the casino integration.

Baccarat Reviews
Below are opinions about Baccarat. They help you understand which features, mechanics, pace, and design may be important when evaluating the game.
I liked Baccarat mainly because of its simplicity. Before each round I choose Player, Banker or Tie, and then the game applies the third-card rules automatically. The demo quickly helped me understand how totals above nine are handled and why face cards count as zero. For short card-game sessions, this calmer format suits me better than more complicated table games.

What I like most is the classic structure without extra side bets or mini-games. The interface is clear, and the Player, Banker and Tie areas are easy to spot. You just need to remember that Banker carries a commission. The rules are otherwise fairly quick to learn, especially if you play the first few deals for free in the demo.

A good version for anyone who already knows the basic baccarat rules. I like that it uses eight decks and that I do not have to decide whether to draw a third card myself. The 8:1 Tie payout looks interesting, but I see it more as an occasional option than a main bet.

Everything looks neat and easy to understand, but I miss having decisions to make once the deal has started. You place a chip, start the round, and then just watch. That is normal for classic baccarat, but I personally prefer games where you can choose additional actions after receiving the first cards.

I learned the rules quickly, but the format felt a little too calm for me. There are no Free Spins, multipliers or bonus rounds like the ones I am used to in slots. Baccarat works well for a couple of quick deals, but for a longer session I would personally want more events and additional game mechanics.
